Bicycle Parking Garage The Hague wins ADC Gold Cube and other international design awards

The bicycle parking garage underneath the Koningin Julianaplein in The Hague has won prizes at the most important international design competitions: the project won Gold and Silver Cubes at the 100th Art Directors Club (ADC) Awards in New York, Silver at the European Design Awards, Bronzer at The One Show, and a Wood Pencil at D&AD London.

The bicycle parking garage by Silo and studiomarsman is also a finalist in the Transport Interiors category of the Architizer A+ Awards. Vote now to help us win the A+ Popular Choice Awards!

The ADC Annual Awards is the world’s longest continuously running awards program recognizing global excellence in craft and innovation in all forms of design and advertising. In the esteemed show’s 100th awards season, Silo’s ‘Space-age airport for cyclists’ won a Gold Cube in the Spatial Design category and a Silver Cube for Design for Good: projects that contribute to a better world.

At The One Show, one of the world’s most prestigious awards program in advertising, design and digital marketing, the bike facility was awarded a Bronze Pencil in the Spatial Design category.

D&AD is an educational non-profit that has presented awards every year since 1962, honoring the very best creative work from around the world. The bicycle parking garage received a Wooden Pencil in the category Design Transformation.

The European Design Awards are the yearly celebration of the very best examples of branding and communication design. The parking facility won Silver in the category Signs & Displays.
