Silo to develop spatial branding for Saxenburgh Medical Center

Saxenburgh Medical Center has commissioned Silo to develop a strategy for the spatial branding and identity of the new hospital in Hardenberg. The aim is to strengthen the relationship between the user and the building. This will help enhance the experience for patients, visitors, and staff.

Staying in a hospital often causes stress. Waiting for an appointment with your doctor, visiting a sick family member, undergoing treatment: a hospital is a new, strange environment in which you usually don’t feel at home. A healing environment with daylight, greenery, spaciousness, areas with a relaxed atmosphere, and good acoustics can help to reduce stress. This positive impact on people can potentially increase the effectiveness of care.

The new Saxenburgh Medical Centre is compact and sustainable. The hospital offers a complete package of healthcare services for the people of the region. Clever use of space means that more patient care can be provided on less floor area.
