Privacy and data use

Silo processes your personal data when you use our services and/or website, and/or when you provide it to us. The personal data we process may include: first and last name, job title, organization, gender, address, telephone number, e-mail address, cv/portfolio, IP address, location details, details about your activities on our website, internet browser and device type and bank account number.

Silo processes your personal data for the following purposes: the delivery of services, collection and processing payments, marketing and acquisition, recruitment and selection.

Silo also processes personal data in cases we are legally obliged to do so.

Silo does not store your personal data longer than legally required or strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes for which your data is collected.

Silo will not sell your information to third parties and will only provide this information if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. To ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data, we sign Data Processing Agreements with third parties that process your data on our behalf. Silo remains responsible for these processing operations.

We use Mailchimp as platform to distribute our newsletter. By subscribing, you acknowledge that your information will be transferred to Mailchimp for processing. Learn more about Mailchimp’s privacy practices here.

Under no circumstances does Silo make decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) personal consequences.

Silo uses functional and analytical cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit our website. Silo uses cookies with a purely technical functionality. These ensure that the website works properly and that, for example, your preferred settings are remembered. Cookies are also used to optimize the website. The analytical cookies are anonymized before processing and do not contain any personal data.

You have the right to access, correct or erase your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Silo and you have the right to data portability.

You can send a request for access, correction, erasure, or data transfer of your personal data, or a request for withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to info@silo.nl. We respond as quickly as possible, but within four weeks, at your request.

Silo takes the protection of your data seriously and has taken appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. If you have the impression that your data is not secure or there are indications of abuse, please contact us.
