For those who work in the office daily, navigating the space quickly becomes intuitive. You just know where to go, how to find meeting rooms, and what amenities are available. However, those who primarily work from home, as well as external visitors, depend on accessible information and guidance to make optimal use of the workplace.
Silo is developing a new wayfinding strategy for Nationale-Nederlanden (NN), one of the leading financial services providers in the Netherlands. This strategy is integrated into the broader workplace experience and forms the basis for a signage system that not only guides users but also reflects and communicates the organisation’s core values.

Blue skies over NN in The Hague, Arnhem, Rotterdam and Amsterdam
Our goal for the project is to enhance the office environment by creating a predictable space where everyone feels comfortable. Looking at the broader employee experience, our designs will align with NN’s ambitious sustainability goals and its commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
The first phase of the rollout is planned for 2025. Once completed, the offices in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, and Arnhem will feature a new, NN-specific wayfinding system. We are proud that, after our work on their zero-waste co-working and event spaces, we continue our collaboration with NN.
