Silo wins Bronze IFI Design Distinction Award!

19 April 2024

The IFI Design Distinction Awards winners have been unveiled, and Silo is among them! The global design competition, organised by the International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers, celebrates outstanding design achievements in completed built projects.

A rigorously juried competition

Every two years, the IFI Global Design Awards Program (IFI GAP) acknowledges trailblazing designers, visionaries, and realised projects that significantly influence our everyday experiences. After an open call, a rigorous selection process, led by an independent 10-member jury consisting of recognized leaders and experts in the world of design, resulted in the selection of the gold, silver and bronze winners.

Our winners have demonstrated creativity that elevates the discipline for the greatest relevance and societal impact.”

Steve Leung, Chairman of IFI GAP and Jury, IFI President 2017-2020

Raising the bar on sustainable design

Awarded bronze is the Bicycle Parking Garage in The Hague, a collaborative effort between Silo and Studio Marsman. This design is nominated in the Sustainability category. By radically redefining the typology, the project not only enhances the well-being of its thousands of daily users but also advocates for cycling as a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
